P R O D U C T - D E S I G N

Here is an image of my final product for my extension week project. It uses fairy lights, tracing paper and glue and is a very simple design. What I like about my outcome is its relative ease of production on a mass or batch scale, especially if I was able to cast my product in bone china or a translucent resin. I took inspiration from mathematical, geometric shapes, in particular polyhedrons. The product was lightweight, relatively easy to build and required the use of very few materials.
